Local Transportation in Osaki-Kamijima
Osaki-Kamijima is an island located in the Seto Inland Sea, covering approximately 38.27 square kilometers with a perimeter of about 34 km. You can circle the entire island by bicycle in around 2.5 hours, or by car in about an hour, making it possible to enjoy the whole island even on a day trip. This “just-right” size is one of Osaki-Kamijima’s many charms.

The Osaki-Kamijima Loop Bus is a convenient service that connects the island’s major areas.

The Otohime Bus (Fixed-route) is a community bus operated by Osaki-Kamijima Town, running on a regular schedule and connecting the island’s main areas.

The Otohime Bus (On-demand type) is a reservation-based shared ride service operated by Osaki-Kamijima Town. It offers more flexible travel options, particularly for areas or times not covered by regular bus routes.
