Q.
What kind of perspective is it based on?
A.
This retreat is grounded primarily in Ellie’s lived experience,
as the founder of Osaki-Kamijima Retreat and a guide for quiet transformation,
with influences from psychology, Zen, and perspectives from the natural sciences
quietly flowing in the background.
Encounters with process-oriented psychology,
experiences in nature,
and the experience of shaping the future through entrepreneurship
also form part of its foundation.
These are not so much theories,
but more like a single thread running through everything.
The moment something becomes a theory,
it already belongs to the past.
What is unfolding right in front of us
is the true reality.
How we receive the story that is happening now—
that is what matters.
To simply be,
we borrow the power of stillness.
This is the retreat.
